Shenmue: Orchestra Version is the name of the soundtrack to Shenmue. It is only available in Japan, although I've heard the Limited Edition version of Shenmue (which I don't know how is distributed for sure, but I think it's a random distribution most likely among pre-orders) contains an extra disk.. a soundtrack. This isn't it. The soundtrack included in Shenmue LE is a jazz remix of sorts. This is an orchestral CD, and a damn good one :). Enjoy.

Sega Web- A good review of all the tracks, in case you want to buy the CD.

You can probably guess why I can't put the whole CD on here. This section is just what I was able to stumble upon while cruisin' for news :). AND.. if you can't finish the downloads and need a download program, email me.

Track #1
Size: 6.7 MB
Where I got it: Sega Web (thanks!)
Commentary: This is a great musical score that starts out dramatic, then moves to fast-paced, and then mixes, constantly getting stronger. I'd definately recommend it. There are so many things this could eb used for in-game. It's just great. Combine that with the GREAT camera direction and cinematic sequences and you have a really emotionally powerful segment to a game. I'd use this for a flashback or something, I don't know.. just get it! :)
Track #2
Size: 5 MB
Where I got it: Sega Web (thanks!)
Commentary: This one, although at first it may sound like Track 1, is very different. This is much more joy oriented. Very triumphant music.. It's like.. straight from a movie, a romp through a fantasy world or something. Very tranquil.. it also builds as it progresses, very nice in this one too. This would be either extremely good intro music or above average ending music. Get it! :)
Track #5
Size: 6.7 MB
Where I got it: Sega Web (thanks!)
Commentary: This track is more sub-conscious than the others. It's not really powerful. Don't get me wrong, it really is great, but I'm trying to pick out a specific quality the music has, and I really can't. If you.. gotta catch 'em all, or want some relaxing music, get this one. If you're limited in some way, be it time or HD space or you don't want to get billed more for your Internet usage, don't get this one. But if you can, go for it.
Track #8
Size: 4.9 MB
Where I got it: Sega Web (thanks!)
Commentary: To me, this sounds like Track 2 with vocals, and a little more kick. This is not a bad thing, not at all. It adds several defining qualities that make it much better, and a sorta different type of music. It has soft vocals.. that kick into a nice climax at the end. This is more of a "No turning back now" or "starting the quest" type music. I really don't know if that helps.. just my thoghts on it. It is really a good score, and unlike 5, not for relaxing, but very nice. Download it... ... damnit! :)

Project Berkely Disk Bonus Track
Size: 2.3 MB
Where I got it: I don't know- I've had this one for quite a while now
Commentary:
This one is really great. It's very dramatic and forceful, powerful emotionally. This could be the greatest game ending music ever, but it's just a bonus track! :D! This is really cool- you could play it over and OVER and still love it, as I have now. Definately get this one.
